Sunnyvale Landscape Lighting
A low-voltage lighting installation around a pool, patio, mature trees, and planting, designed to make the landscape feel intentional after dark.
The goal
A landscape can be fully built and still disappear once the sun goes down. This project focused on making the outdoor space feel considered at night, not simply adding brightness wherever a fixture would fit.
The lighting approach
The installation uses low-voltage landscape lighting around the pool, patio, mature trees, and planting. The intent is to reveal the structure of the property after dark: circulation, major plant forms, vertical elements, and the outdoor-living areas people actually use.
Good landscape lighting depends on more than fixture count. Placement, aiming, transformer sizing, wire runs, and the final nighttime adjustment all affect whether the result feels natural or overlit.
The result
The finished property has depth after dark. Trees and planting remain visible, the outdoor areas feel connected, and the lighting becomes part of the landscape instead of competing with it.
